Really REALLY good food. Prices not nearly high enough and the staff was fun. Made us feel welcome as first timers and so did the regulars. I would go back just for the pie...

We found this place on a spur and we aren't from this area. Just by looking at the outside I wasn't sure. Plus when we pulled up no one was here. But we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did! This place is super clean. I could probably eat off the floor clean. The staff is super friendly and you can see the guy cooking your food right from your seat. Speaking of seats, they're all very nice! It has an older feel to it, like homey, but there's no rips, or anything. They take care of their stuff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone! We had breakfast and it was super good and super inexpensive! Go!

Breakfast was amazing. My go to place when heading to Manitowoc or Northern Wisconsin.

Still my favorite burgers, fries and chocolate malts! Soups are awesome. Then dessert!!

Not impressed. Service was slow to even get us drinks, no utensils or condiments on the table and our burgers came wrapped in bags. No plate, no basket. When I asked for ketchup, waitress asked "isnt there any on it?". I seriously had to explain that I would like some extra ketchup! Burger was good though. Doubt I'll be back.

This place is a gem!! They cook right in front of you, well everyone!! I have never seen so much stainless steel in a restaurant so bright and clean!! Service was good, friendly!! Portions are great for the price, which by the way are amazing!! Cash only could hamper some, but I will return again and again!! Great job

Good burger!

First time here, in love with the prices and the simplicity. Food is fresh, smells are mouthwatering, and I can't see many downsides. Cash only, so that requires some planning, but incredibly worth it. Ask for grilled onions in the hash browns, they do them perfectly. Toast is perfect, coffee a touch weak (for me), but it's consistent, and my cup never gets low. Homemade strawberry jam, y'all. I cannot express how affordable and good this place is. If you are in Manitowoc, you need to come here at least once. I will be back, with the family.

Great food and amosphere.

Worst burgers ever. I don't understand how this place got such great reviews... maybe they changed cooks recently or something? This was my second time stopping by because I wanted to give them another chance to impress me. But this time was the same as last: thin, flavorless burger patties and completely unseasoned french fries. I couldn't even taste the meat in my burger. And after I took a look at the cooks pressing down on the patties with their spatulas, squeezing all the flavorful fat out of them, I understood why. Honestly, if not for the fresh veggies here, I would have preferred a gas station burger. To top it all off, the female server here was very pushy and extremely rude.

The food here is really good. I’ve seen this place in manitowoc forever but never suited until recently. Very good eggs and hash browns. Good chili. Between the two of us we spent $25 and both got a good amount of food plus dessert and drinks.

Great taste looked good too. That place is so clean you could just about eat offthe floor!

A neat little corner diner with good burgers and old-school, handmade shakes served in the stainless steel mixing cup. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Currently takeout only... but well worth the wait. We had breakfast... we will be back.

I always order for pick up and its always hot and ready when i get there. everything is always made fresh. Small cheeseburgers with everything are my go to menu item

Delicious! Burgers were spot-on. Onion rings best I've ever had. My new favorite place to eat in Manitowoc. Skip the chain restaurants and come here for a cheap, truly tasty meal.

Visiting Manitowoc for breakfast and was directed to try Bud’s. Second to none! There may be equals, but why take a chance. Great Breakfast!

Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. My father and grandfather are regulars as well. Truly a great local diner with the best breakfast and burgers in town.

Family loved their food and the service. Definitely a return the next time we’re in town from Fond du Lac!

Food just like man makes! Delicious! The soups are amazing as well. Watch the cook fry up your food just feet away.

We went there and not an open seat but luckily we were placing a TO GO ORDER. They took our order with a Smile and we didn't have long to wait...my sick grandaughter home from college requested their soup. So of course I ran and got her a quart of chicken soup and 2 quarts of chili to take back to Madison...SHE LOVED IT!!! People at Buds are AWESOME !!!!

Great breakfast and diner food. Burgers also looked great. Fast, friendly servers. And prices were good, especially with the quality of everything.

It's been a few years since I eat here. Everything tasted the same and every bit as good as I remember. Wow, never expected that. One must understand this is not a five star joint but a great small diner. Everyone is friendly and there to make sure you enjoy the meal. Must try the fries and gravy.

They have great and generous sized breakfasts to homeade soups and one of the best burgers in town .
